"It's dangerous,"said the other."Why don't you boys go home now?”
"We've thought it over,”said Eric."We can't give up now.Shall we go on,Walter?”
"Yes,”Walter answered."It may be a very hard trip,but let's go!We started out to go to York Factory.We'll not stop until we get there.”
An old man was near the boys.He heard what they had said."Good luck for you!”he said to them."I believe you can make it.Just think about the next mile you have to go.Don't think about the ones after that.”
