请问:本科非经济专业报考美国经济学硕士需要考哪些科目?

是否需要考经济学,数学需要吗?还是只需要考托福/雅思/GMAT....

参考答案:No, that's not true. A lot of graduate schools in economics will accept non economics majors into their programs, provided you can satisfy the following:
1. Economic theories (introductory, intermediate and advanced)
2. Statistics
3. Math including calculus and linear algebra.
If you are a graduate from math, physics, or engineering, you are welcomed but they will ask you to do an MA to study economic theories before registering you for a PhD program.
If you don't trust me, go to any university web site to take a look at the qualification of their professors, you will find lots of them with an undergraduate degree in either math or science.
If you are not good at math, stay away from economics; otherwise, calculus, algebra, probability and statistics will kill you.
