参考答案:It is hard to answer such a complicate question. both father and mother take pains to bring us up, however, as a choice has to be made, I would say comparatively, it is easier to be a father. to begin with, just think of your being borne, it is from your mother that you become a human being, and what the father do is just wait for your coming. Yes, he may worry about you terribly, however, he can do nothing except wait.
In addtion, the father usually immerses himeself in work instead of the family chore, so , the coming of the child makes not so much difference to his life as to the mother's.He can still stay up late in the office, he is able to travel on business. All of these can not be achieved by a mother soonly after the coming of the child.
Last but not the least,usually the mother cares about the child more, from his coming to his getting education. Frankly, a mother ,to some extent pays more attention to the child than a father does.
I have to admit that a husband has to earn money to support this family, but as to the definition of father and mother, it is my opinion that definitely , it is earier to be a father.
