Principle Accountabilities:
The Human Resources Manager will:
· Provide Human Resources Support.
· Partner with business leaders, engineering professionals and corporate staff to promote productive work experiences.
· Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit, develop, and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
· Ensure positive employee relations.
· Encourage organizational development.
· Administer Compensation, benefits, personnel policies and procedures.
· Mentor Human Resource Advisors in matrix or direct reporting relationships, achieve objectives and maintain profitability.
· Get the acceptance of others in sensitive situations and influence a winning culture.
· Perform due diligence and integrate merged and acquired companies into the Flextronics culture.
· Make decisions on administrative or operational matters that have a serious impact on overall profitability of organizational and or company functions.
· Comply with immigration and labor laws.
Immediate Challenges:
· Upgrade HR team.
· Unify HR policies and practices in conjunction with corporate subject matter leaders.
· Establish Flex culture.
· Lead development and implementation of talent pipeline initiatives in Qingdao.

· Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is a must.
Experience/Education Required:
· Degree in Human Resource Management, or related areas. MBA a plus.
· 8 years’ progressive experience in HR across all major functions, preferably with at least two years spent in managing a team.
Flextronics Qingdao
Flextronics Dongguan is a manufacturing center of excellence providing both mechanicals and assembly services. It currently has a workforce of 1,500+ with a wide range of services including manufacturing, engineering, test and development, quality engineering, etc.
