WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?
It was first really warm, spring day that Middleton had had that year. In fact, it was downright hot. And the schoolchildren loved it! After a long cold winter and a damp and rainy spring, it seemed as though summer had arrived with one big burst of sunshine, and energy that had welled up during the many dreary months seemed to have released itself like a mountain of water flowing through broken dam! During the noon hour, the children played hard, ran and yelled, and had a great time in the welcomed sunshine. Now the “first” bell had rung, and several hundred very reluctant children found their way into the building and to their respective classrooms, still talking loudly, perspiring profusely, and with flushed faces.
Mr. Gardner scheduled math immediately following the lunch hour. Today, the children were hardly ready for the concentration needed for a math lesson. Mr. Gardner saw the hopelessness of the situation confronting him and immediately decided to alter his schedule.
(1) Do you think this was a wise decision on the part of Mr. Gardner?
(2) Can Mr. Gardner forget about math each time the area has a beautiful day?
(3) If this a persistent problem, what might Mr. Gardner do to deal with it on a long-term basis?

2.On account of the answer for No.1,we could say not every time, but to do when it's needful.
3.He could make some small game or interesting stories before starting lesson, in order to attract the attention of students, or he could negotiate with school to change his class to the morning, I think will be better. or, just give 10mins to them all to sleep, this is a very effective way when I was a student.
