■【汉译英】真是天有不测风云，周四晚一场大雪搅乱了计划，尽管大家都抢着头班车到的单位，但还是紧赶慢赶都迟到了，还好老板也没到的，可能是堵车了，各自整理好自己的东西依次来到会议室，落坐后等着老板。

参考答案:Something unexpected always happens. The heavy snow on Thursday night disturbed our plan. Everybody tried to take the first bus to go to the company, but they were still late. Thank God that the boss had not arrived yet, maybe due to heavy traffic. Everybody organized their stuff and then went to the conference room one by one, sat down, and waited for the boss.

1. 原文中的“到的单位”看不懂，应该是“到达单位”吧？
2. “紧赶慢赶”不知道是什么意思，因此没译。
3. "Due to heavy traffic" = “由于交通堵塞”。
