随着互联网的迅速发展与普及，网上学习正逐渐成为全球化教育和培训的趋势。网校作为现代远程教育一种全新的教育方式和手段，体现了传统教育与现代信息技术的完美结合，符合远程教育资源共享的发展方向。
网络考试系统确实具有“任何人、在任何时间、任何地点、任何内容”，双向互动和主动学习等优点，然而，目前一些现有的网上考试系统不尽如人意之处亦非常显著。
随着网络技术的发展，网校的日新月异的变化，对于检验学生的学习效果的网上考试系统亦同样需随之改变，变得更具个性化。考试系统将逐渐趋向于“自适应考试”，这类考试系统通常会对每个新用户进行水平测试，并根据测试结果，给用户指定一个等级。这样的系统完全根据用户需要而改变，达到了考试自动适应用户的效果。考试系统也不再简单的是个用作考试的工具，而将会成为一个学习系统。考试的过程，也是一个学习提高的过程。

传统的课件多为单机课件，供老师在课堂上使用，应用率较低，随着INTERNET网和校园网的发展，网络课件需求越来越大。它的优势也表现的越来越明显。
本论文以“网络课件”的制作为背景，论述了网络课件制作的意义、概念、结构及系统开发的基本原理和方法。全文共分为前言、JSP技术简介，JDBC技术简介，对如何使用JSP开发本系统作了较为详细的介绍。
