Ferndean was a very old house.As I began walking tuwards the house.I saw Mr Rochester,he looked so tired and so sad.I knocked at the door,Mary opened the door for me.She was surprised.She took me into the kitchen.She put a glass and two lighted candles on a tray."I'll take it to him."I said to Mary.The sitting-room was dark.Mr Rochester was standing there.His old dog,Pilot sat near him.Pilot was jumping up at me,so I said,"Down,Pilot."Mr Rochester listened.He said,"It's you,Mary,isn't it?""Mary is in the kitchen,'I said.He touched my dress and my face."Jane"Jane?"We sat down and he started asking me many questions."You cannot marry me now.I am blind and weak.I have no more money to buy fine clothes."But I didn't agree.I told him what was in my heart,and we decided to get married.Three days later Ibecame Mrs Rochester.
