帮我填填这两个有争议的格子！
We were late as usual.My husband insisted on watering the flowers in the garden by himself,and when he discovered that he couldn't manage he asked me for help at the last moment.So now we had only an hour to get to the airport.Luckily there were not many cars and buses on the road and we were able to get there just in time.We checked in and went straight into a big hall to wait for our flight to be called.We waited and waited but no announcement was made.We asked for information and the girl there told us that the plane hadn't arrived yet.In the end there came an announcement telling us that those waiting waiting for Flight JJ 108 could get a free meal voucher and that the plane hadn't left Spain for techmocal problems.We thought that meant that it was not safe for the plane to ____.We waited again for a long time until late ____ when we were asked to report again.This time we were given free vouchers to spend the night in a nearby hotel.
The next morning after a bad night because of all the planes taking off and landing,we were reported back to the airport.Guess what had happened while we were asleep.Our plane had arrived and taken off again.All the other passengers had been woken up in the night to catch the plane,but for some reason or other we had been forgotten.You can imagine how we felt.

第一题是A，第二题是C，不明白为什么。如果第一题选A是怎么翻译？第二题哪里有证据要选morning？既然后面说了给他们提供酒店过夜。

参考答案:late有个意思跟early一样，都是“早，初，迟”的意思
所以late morning就是凌晨的意思
因为morning有个意思是半夜至正午的时间
还有个例句He died in the early hours of Sunday morning
他于星期日凌晨逝世
所以这个空就是C（放心~）
night指的是日落到日出天黑着的那段时间（time of darkness between sunset and sunrise）
那个空实在是。。。。。。
不过完型里总是有那种得不到分的空，实在抱歉我也不知道（可以问问老师~）
